Design Brief
For this project I redesigned the branding and to go packaging for the Mexican restaurant, Costa Vida. Costa Vida is a surfing inspired restaurant that uses Baja Mexican elements to aid their branding. Almost all elements of their brand have been reworked with this redesign.
Design Reasoning
Due to their current branding being somewhat of a mess my two main objectives were to create a system of unified elements and to take a more youth-full approach. I thought changing their logo to a more rounded and bold typeface would appeal better to kids my age. In addition I created a brand mark that is an abstract depiction of a wave and also includes the letters “c” and “v”.
