Design Brief
The Japanese new wave film festival is a fictional film festival held at Oklahoma State University. The festival will present Iconic films from the Japanese New Wave genre. Such as Death by Hanging, Branded to Kill, The Naked Island, and more.
Design Reasoning
For the design of my film festival movie poster, I wanted the style to be heavily influenced by the movie genre itself. After watching a plethora of the films I came out with a general tone of uneasiness. I wanted to take that feeling I got form watching the movies and make someone feel that way when looking at my poster.
